Chaozu is a small man with white skin and red cheeks, he is the best friend of Ten Shin Han and was trained by Tsuru Sennin. He is inspired by the undead from Chinese folklore.

Chaozu is a character with a permanently youthful appearance. This is also reflected in his childlike and naive behavior. Highly impressionable and extremely sensitive, he remains very close to his friend Ten Shin Han, who, like him, was a student of Tsuru Sennin.
