To disassemble the HVAS when the knife is in the closed position, push the front release lever away from the blade, then spin the turn release wheel on the rear of the handle away from the pivot shaftonce you feel the handle release, pull it up and away from the blade. Reassembly is as easy as reversing the procedure, allowing for practical, quick maintenance where you stand. From the highest peaks to the rowdiest river canyons, the HVAS is raring to go.The CRKT HVAS offers a minimalist design from Jesper Voxnaes of Loegstrup, Denmark. This outdoors folding knife was crafted for performance in the difficult and rugged terrain that Jesper calls home. CRKT’s field strip technology provides an added level of functionality that will take your preparedness to new heights. This knife is surely one of it’s own kind with really great features..SPECIFICATIONSBlade Material:1.4116Overall Length:7.875″Blade Length:3.375″Blade Style:Drop PointBlade Edge Type:PlainBlade Grind:HollowBlade Thickness:0.13″Blade Finish/Color:SatinHandle Material:GFNHandle Length:4.50″Handle Thickness:0.49″Handle Color:BlackLock Type:Liner LockOpener:Thumb HoleKnife Type:ManualWeight:3.79 oz.Brand:CRKTModel:HVASModel Number:2817Designer:Jesper VoxnaesProduct Type:KnifeCountry of Origin:TaiwanSKU:14661
